Emma joined PwC on the Flying Start Degree Programme and has since gone on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant whilst working in the London Regional Assurance practice. Working in this department has allowed her to work with SMEs from diverse industry backgrounds, including technology, retail and construction. Whilst in this department Emma was an active member of the fast growth team which saw her help to organise networking events for small and growing businesses.
Emma enjoys working with people, taking on new challenges and has a keen interest in understanding the key internal functions of a business. She has undertaken a secondment to PwC’s student recruitment team to gain a greater understanding of PwC’s full service offering while working on her public speaking skills.
In Emma’s spare time she volunteers as a trustee for Lucy Air Ambulance for Children charity. The trustee role has allowed Emma to gain further insight into the issues facing small and growing entities and she is passionate about using these combined experiences to help other businesses.
Although not particularly sporty, Emma has occasionally been persuade to partake in half marathons, if it is for a good cause!
