A trainee chartered accountant, Matthew joined the firm as a school leaver in 2016 and spent the first 2 years of his PwC career in Transaction Services, with a focus on financial due diligence on entrepreneurial private businesses, where he developed strong analytical skills and an understanding of the entrepreneurial journey before then joining the Raise team.

Since joining Raise, he has now started mentoring a music tech start-up and continues to study towards his chartered accountancy qualification.

Matthew dedicates a lot of his spare time to St. John Ambulance where he provides first aid cover to large events all over Northern Ireland and helps form part of the management team for his local division as treasurer, as well as fulfilling other management roles.
