Celine Herweijer

Celine is a Partner in the firm and leads PwC's Innovation and Sustainability work, in addition to  PwC’s climate change and international development business. She is a World Economic Forum Young Global leader and has worked in over 30 countries with clients from governments, international organisations, investors, industry and tech firms to structure and implement funds and new business ventures, shape policy and regulatory agendas, advise on transactions and new ventures, develop strategy and partnerships, and measure impact. Celine leads the firm’s work on Tech for Good, is a Member of the G20- T20 Digital Economy Taskforce, and has acted as key advisor to the G20, World Economic Forum, UN, G7, New Climate Economy, and numerous governments, industry bodies, investors and major corporations on innovation and sustainability. She is a 2016-2018 member of WEF Global Future Council, an Advisory board member of the UN Business Commission on Sustainable Development and a Visiting Senior Research Fellow at the London School of Economics. Celine holds a PhD in Computer Modelling and Earth Sciences, Columbia University, New York, and is a NASA Fellow.
