Senior Manager, Data Protection Strategy, Legal and Compliance Services, PwC United Kingdom
I am James Lloyd, a regulatory investigations and disputes lawyer in PwC's Data Protection Strategy, Law and Compliance Services team.
I help companies with the contentious aspects of regulatory compliance and enforcement issues in international data privacy, working with my clients to identify the legal, reputational and other risks faced as a result of data breaches, including cyber-attacks, where personal data has been taken. I focus on advising clients on their response to regulatory investigations and third party claims and complaints.
I have led the response to significant enforcement investigations by international and domestic regulators, law enforcement agencies and UK Parliamentary Select Committees. I also have extensive experience in conducting internal investigations on behalf of international corporations, and in litigating complex, cross-border disputes.
Before joining PwC, I was a senior litigator at Morrison & Foerster.
