Raj is global leader of PwC’s retirement & pensions consulting capability. He also leads PwC UK’s technology investments across the firm’s lines of service.
In his role as a pensions consulting partner, he advises companies, trustees, regulators and governments. He works across industries with Boards, NEDs and management tasked with the strategy and delivery of change to their organisation’s pension arrangements. Raj invented and pioneered PwC’s methodology for pension plan funding and has a number of innovative FTSE100 firsts to his bow, during his work for clients such as ITV, Intercontinental Hotels Group and BAE Systems.
In his role as technology investments leader for the firm, Raj works across all its disciplines helping to invest in technology-enabled client solutions. This covers major investment projects to develop solutions which meet the evolving needs of clients and the market. He has a strong track record of driving commercial success out of innovation, particularly in the technology-enabled and digital arena.
Raj graduated with a Mathematics degree from the University of Oxford, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries.
