Sam Tomlinson

Sam is a partner in PwC’s media assurance practice. 

Sam leads PwC’s multi-award-winning Customer, Marketing & Media Insight team.  He collaborated with industry representatives in developing the UK’s first industry standard for multi-platform audience measurement.  His marketing insight, audience reporting and media audit services cover digital (including display, VoD, social etc), television, publishing, radio, out-of-home and live events.  He has advised clients on issues ranging from impact measurement to digital strategy to controls over digital ad sales and operations.

Sam was the founder of PwC’s global Media Industry Accounting Group and is a contributing editor to PwC’s Global Entertainment & Media Outlook.

Sam graduated with First Class Honours in Economics and Philosophy (PPE) from the University of Oxford, where he specialised in statistics and econometrics. Sam is also a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW).

Sam is married with two children; when work and family permits he “enjoys” (?) running ultra-marathons.
