Tom provides strategic and market leading employment legal advice on outsourcing transactions, M&A deals and commercial transactions.
He has considerable experience of multi-jurisdictional deals and transactions involving central and local government and regularly assists clients with complex employee change, redundancy projects and restructuring projects. Tom has considerable experience of employment litigation and advisory matters and has further experience in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. He has considerable experience of executive hiring and firing and has defended FTSE 100 clients from sensitive employment claims, including sex, race, disability and age discrimination and whistle-blowing claims.
Much of Tom’s experience involves providing strategic advice, protecting a client’s reputation and advising on complex, often cross border, legal issues. Tom has particular experience of outsourcing transactions and advising on TUPE/ARD. He has advised on numerous disciplinary and grievance matters, and sickness and performance management. Tom is a real risk manager and always strives to achieve the best results for his clients.
