Office senior partner

I am the Senior Partner of PwC’s Leeds Office.

We have 700 staff in Leeds, providing a full range of professional services to our clients including Audit, Taxation, Corporate Finance, Business Recovery, Transaction Services, Consulting, Risk Assurance and Forensics delivered by experienced professionals based here in our Leeds office.

I joined PwC’s Audit practice in London in 1994 where I specialised in the financial services sector. After qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1996, I moved North in 1997 where I joined our Transaction Services team undertaking buy and sell side due diligence, IPOs, valuations and advising on the financial aspects of sale and purchase agreements.  I then transferred across to our Forensics team in 1999 where I now lead our Forensics practice across the North of England.

From 2013 to 2016 I was PwC's Regional Deals Leader for Yorkshire & the North East, leading our Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Business Recovery and Forensic teams across our Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield and Hull offices.

I have led PwC’s services to a wide variety of organisations, including listed companies, privately owned and private equity backed businesses, inbounds, as well as in the public and not for profit sectors.  Over my career with PwC to date I have worked across a broad range of sectors and in many countries across Europe, Africa, North and South America.

As a forensic accountant I have extensive experience in a wide variety of related matters, including civil and criminal investigations (including regulatory and financial reporting irregularities), commercial, contractual and shareholder disputes, transactional disputes, professional negligence and international arbitration.

I have given expert evidence in a wide variety of forums, including in High Court, tribunals, mediations and before a Parliamentary Select Committee.
