Date: 10 June 2021
Timings: 09.30-11.00 BST
This year, the Equalities and Human Rights Commission delayed enforcement of gender pay reporting requirements from 5 April 2021 to 5 October 2021. This follows the postponement of gender pay reporting requirements in 2020.
Despite the deadline extension, around a quarter of organisations reported anyway. Some of these companies had already prepared their reporting, but others have been clear that continuing to report was an important signal of their ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion. For those organisations who did not report their data last year and have yet to do so this April, the upcoming deadline in October could pose a number of challenges.
In the spirit of continued focus and commitment to the inclusion and diversity agenda, on Thursday 10 June we’ll be hosting a virtual event to discuss gender pay gap reporting. As in previous years, this event will offer a chance to discuss the trends emerging from the reported data so far and the wider implications of this for 'moving the dial' on diversity. Given the context of this year, we will also spend time focusing on the particular challenges and practicalities of reporting later this year as well as future aspects of reporting such as ethnicity pay gap reporting and international developments such as expected requirements in Ireland.
If you would like to attend the event, please register via the form on this page.
We do also appreciate that some of you may not be able to join this event due to other commitments or restrictions at this time. If this is the case, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request a copy of the slides which can be sent after the event.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact Emma Townson on email@example.com.
