Heads of Internal Audit Forum: Technology Transformed

A reminder that it’s not too late to register for our Summer Heads of Internal Audit Forum on 4th July at which our invited guests will discuss the topic of 'Technology Transformed'.

Date: Tuesday, 4th July
Time: 9:30-10:30am
Location: Virtual or in-person event at our Embankment Place office in London from 9-11.30am

Firstly, we will explore the rapid and widespread adoption of cloud technologies, such as google cloud, microsoft azure and amazon web services. This trend was accelerated by the pandemic and it still has some way to go. Experience indicates that a number of key factors separate those organisations who have successfully secured the many benefits from the cloud from those who have not. We will share our observations on the state of the cloud and our recommendations for internal auditors eager to support their organisations with value-adding and insightful assurance when it matters most.

Secondly, we will look at how developments in technology continue to transform the way in which organisations interact with their customers, service users, suppliers and employees. Key areas for discussion will be robotic process automation and artificial intelligence. It is imperative for executives leading the adoption of these new tools to have foresight in relation to both the associated opportunities and the risks. We will explore what internal auditors must do to keep pace and remain relevant in providing assurance over this transformational technology.

You are invited to join our livestream from your own home or office or there are a few spaces remaining at our Embankment Place Offices.
