Forces for Change acts as an annual barometer of the public’s view of defence and the armed forces, their purpose, their value and how trustworthy they are.
Our survey of over 2,000 members of the public shows that trust in the UK’s armed forces services is high and rising, and that most people would like to see Britain’s military strength increase. There’s also widespread public appreciation of the forces’ contribution to UK society and their value to the economy.
“Together, these findings point to a major opportunity – one that is all the more important as Brexit draws nearer - the potential for the UK to invest in building a world class defence industry that will boost economic growth through exports and investment, in turn helping to drive jobs and skills.”
