Leadership in a new health landscape: perspectives from healthcare leaders

Better healthcare is about change.  And change needs leadership that thinks and acts in new ways.  Tomorrow’s leaders will know that change is a process not a destination.  They will be able to engage communities as well as clinicians.  They will be able to lead systems as well as institutions.   And they will be leaders who make change not just manage it.

As part of our Global CEO survey, we interviewed a number of healthcare leaders in the UK to explore how they’re facing the challenge and opportunities ahead.

Julian Hartley, Leeds Teaching Hospital

Ian Wilkinson, Oldham Clinical Commissioning Group

Liz Mear, North West Coast Academic Health Science Network

Mike Deegan, Central Manchester University Hospitals
