Peter Dickens and Toby Underwood of PwC were appointed Joint Administrators of Marcus Worthington and Company Limited ("MWCL") on 30 September 2019. They were then appointed Joint Administrators of Stonewell Property Company Limited ("SPCL"), Hollinwood Homes Limited ("HHL"), Breightmet Investments 1 Ltd ("BI1L") and Breightmet Investments 2 Ltd ("BI2L") on 14 October 2019, followed by Hollinwood Homes (Wrea Green) Limited ("HHWGL") on 31 October 2019.
MWCL was established in 1975 and provided construction and development services to third parties and other group entities. SPCL, HHL, HHWGL, BI1L and BI2L hold various property assets for residential development and commercial investment purposes, with construction works undertaken by MWCL. Following MWCL's insolvency, the Directors took steps to place the other Companies into Administration.
The Joint Administrators are liaising with the directors of the Companies to assess the most appropriate strategy to realise the assets.
If you wish to make a retention of title claim in respect of goods located at any of the Companies' premises, you must complete and return the Retention of Title Questionnaire attached below. You must also provide any further information which the Joint Administrators or those acting on their behalf may reasonably require in order to assess your claim. The questionnaire should be returned to the Joint Administrators using the email address email@example.com, together with other supporting documentation as detailed in the questionnaire.
Once a completed Questionnaire and any other requested information has been provided, the Joint Administrators (or someone acting on their behalf from PwC or the Companies) will contact you as soon as they are in a position to do so to confirm whether your claim is accepted and the terms of collection. We are not in a position to say how quickly we will be able to respond to each claim but will endeavour to do so as soon as is reasonably practicable.
