Sandeep Agrawal has joined PwC UK as lead partner for its legal technology business, working as part of the NewLaw team with partners Juan Crosby, Andy Giverin and UK Forensics partner Craig McKeown to service global law department clients.

Sandeep joins the UK firm from PwC India where he led the managed legal service and legal technology practice for seven years working closely with the NewLaw business on global engagements. Prior to this, Sandeep established managed services and legal technology practices for two legal outsourcing firms in India. He will focus on helping to scale PwC’s global legal tech and managed legal services business, as well as building alliances with legal technology companies to enable law department contracting implementation and transformation work.

Teresa Owusu-Adjei, Head of Legal at PwC UK, said:

“Sandeep's appointment is an extremely welcome addition to our market-leading NewLaw business and we are fortunate to have his experience and expertise as we further strengthen our legal technology capabilities and our global managed legal services.”

Juan Crosby, Global NewLaw Lead at PwC, commented:

“Sandeep has been an outstanding partner in the growth of our business over many years and we are delighted to welcome him to the UK firm. He is a proven leader and business builder in this market and will strengthen the broader conversation we are now having with law departments to help them reframe their position not just as a cost efficient provider of legal services but a value partner to the business.”

Sandeep Agrawal, NewLaw partner at PwC, added:

“Having worked with Juan and Andy to support our global clients in efficiently transforming their legal department during my time at PwC India, I’m looking forward to working with the NewLaw team to further enhance our managed legal services and legal tech solutions in the UK.

“Our goal is to deliver exceptional managed legal services that are technology enabled and help law departments capture data which not only has the power to accelerate their speed, efficiency, accuracy and performance, but also drives demonstrable business value.”

PwC’s global NewLaw practice was established five years ago and delivers legal function consulting and legal managed services designed to help streamline, automate, and transform law departments.
