PwC has today [13 November 2017] announced it has conditionally agreed to acquire cDecisions, the UK-based Salesforce consultancy, further expanding its capabilities to help clients transform their business and customer experience with innovative technologies.

cDecisions was founded in 2009 and is a leading player1 in the Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) implementation market, specialising in financial services. The company has achieved success serving clients both in the UK and internationally, and its full team will join PwC on completion of the deal.

The cDecisions team will become part of PwC's existing UK Salesforce team which, following the acquisition of Outbox in 2016, has achieved exceptional growth over the past year and sits within a digital and customer transformation practice of more than 350 people. The deal will also bring PwC clients an innovative combination of tools and accelerators that cDecisions has built on the Salesforce platform together with PwC’s own award-winning Salesforce solutions to improve business results.

Marco Amitrano, UK consulting leader at PwC, said:

“We’re seeing rising demand from our clients around digital and customer transformation and Salesforce is one of the the key technology platforms enabling these programmes. cDecisions adds deep financial services industry expertise to our existing team, and expands on our previous investments in this area, to create the right balance of technical and business understanding to accelerate results for our clients.”

Joel Versluys, co-CEO at cDecisions, who will join PwC as a director alongside his fellow co-CEO, Nigel Runnalls, said:

“We’ve grown rapidly in the past few years in a highly competitive Salesforce market, with particular success in the insurance and retail banking sectors. Looking to the future, we’re excited about the new opportunities that joining PwC will bring, not only in terms of scale but also the chance to get involved early in wider business transformation projects to help organisations meet the demands of the new customer landscape.”

The deal is expected to be formally completed by the end of the year.
