PwC has further strengthened its Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive and Services Industry Leadership by naming Forensics Partner, Mark Anderson as Sector Leader for Business Support Services as well as Legal and Professional Services.
Mark has over 20 years’ experience of working with clients to understand and develop technology-enabled solutions to mitigate and manage supplier and third party risks.
He works with clients across the Business Support Services, Industrial Manufacturing, and Energy sectors and leads both PwC’s global forensic intelligence team as well as its supply chain and third party risk and resilience proposition.
Mark is a passionate advocate for ethical business and supply chains and also leads PwC’s partnership with Transparency International, an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation advocating for anti-corruption policy on global, national and local scales.
He also works extensively with law firms both as clients and project partners and a range of technology alliance partners in supply chain and procurement. He has previously held senior management roles at Deloitte and Walgreens Boots Alliance.
“Business Support Services is a fast growing sector which is vital to the UK economy. Through its inter-connectivity and multiple touch points across all industries, this sector has a huge opportunity to lead clients and their supply chains in doing business ethically and responsibly for long term competitive advantage.
"Technology and the war on talent continue to be dominant pressures on the legal and professional sectors. Firms are looking to implement the latest digital technologies and cloud solutions to drive efficiency gains across the workforce, boost competitiveness, and ensure clients receive the best experience possible. And, as our recent Law Firms’ Survey shows, any investment needs to be coupled with addressing cyber security, with respondents worried about the impact this could have on future growth ambitions.
“I'm delighted to have been appointed as leader across both of these sectors and look forward to helping our teams innovate and deliver sustainable and technology-enabled solutions for our clients. ”
“Mark brings with him a wealth of expertise in advising clients spanning a vast range of sectors on how to conduct business ethically and effectively whilst navigating and minimising the financial and reputational risks.
“The growth opportunities for the UK across Business Support Services and Legal and Professional Services are significant, and I’m delighted to welcome Mark into this new role as he looks to continue to develop our services and build our client base in these exciting sectors.”
