PwC bolsters financial services legal expertise with new director appointment

PwC UK has appointed Andrzej Wieckowski as a new director for its Financial Services Regulatory business. Joining PwC’s market leading risk and regulatory advisory practice, he will advise financial services clients on the current regulatory environment and upcoming reforms thereto.  

Andrzej joins PwC from Allen & Overy, where he led on a range of regulatory engagements, including strategic business transformation and regulatory change projects for global banks, asset managers and fintechs.

Andrzej brings significant experience of advising on regulatory matters. Working alongside partners Kevin King, David Selden and Annalie Croney, he will be supporting the development of PwC’s financial services regulatory legal offering to complement PwC’s existing capabilities in Legal, New Law, Consulting, Technology, Tax, Risk Assurance and Accounting. Integrating with all of these teams, Andrzej will work with the business to strengthen PwC’s position as the leading multidisciplinary practice in financial services.
