Quentin Cole has been appointed as the leader of PwC’s newly combined government and health industries business in the UK. In addition to heading up the health industries practice, from 1st May, he will also lead the firm’s multi-disciplinary government and public Services team, working with organisations across local and central government, education, transport, housing, defence, charities, security and international development.
Quentin has significant experience working with the public sector across both central government and local and devolved public services during his 16 years with PwC. He also led the government and public sector team in PwC’s restructuring practice for three years before becoming the firm’s UK leader for health industries in 2015. He has played a key role in the development of PwC’s healthcare advisory business since 2005 and spent 18 months on secondment to the Department of Health in 2006/7.
Quentin Cole, new PwC UK leader of government and health industries, said:
“I am delighted to be taking on the government and public Services practice in addition to Health Industries. It’s an exciting and challenging time for those working within these sectors with less than a year to go until Brexit, the prospect of a Spending Review in 2019 and new technologies disrupting and transforming the way services are delivered.
“Our focus remains on delivering a wide range of high quality services to all our clients working in government and health.”
Dan Schwarzmann, head of market initiatives and industries at PwC, commented:
“Government and Health Industries is a vital part of PwC’s industry offering. I am delighted Quentin has taken on the leadership of our newly combined UK practice which will ensure we are able to better support the changing needs of our clients.”
