Contacts - Lehman Brothers International (Europe) (in administration) (“LBIE”)

Since September 2008 the Joint Administrators have been engaged in an extensive communications programme for all counterparties through regular information updates on this website, by email, post and telephone and via the Client Information Portal.

The administration has received thousands of queries which have been answered either by the Communications and Counterparty Management team (“CCM”) or by a specialist team with the administration.

During such time, we have streamlined our process for inbound communication, and have moved offices.  Accordingly, please note below the most efficient manner in which to communicate with the administration moving forward.

1. How can I ensure that the Joint Administrators have my most current contact details so that I receive all important updates from LBIE as well reconciliation and distribution information?

It is essential that the administration has complete and current counterparty contact information so that as we move into the reconciliation and distribution process of claims we are well prepared to facilitate future payments.

If you have not done so already, please email your details to counterpartycontacts@lbia-eu.com and include the following information:

  • Contact Name
  • Contact Email
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Contact Address
  • Legal Entity Name
  • GAC (or other Client Reference Number, Account Number, ID Number)
  • Full Address of Legal Entity

2. What should I do if I have a query for LBIE?

Please email the relevant address below, stating your name, company name and GAC (or other Client Reference Number, Account Number, ID number)

3. What do I do once I have submitted my query?

Once you have submitted your query it will be managed by CCM or by the relevant specialist team. We kindly ask for your patience as we review correspondence.

4. Please note that LBIE has relocated.  Our new address is:
