Building trust through Tax Transparency, the new ESG metric

Join our update to explore the latest regulatory developments and the links between ESG and tax.

Date: Wednesday 23 June
Time: 09.00-10.00 BST
Location: Via Google Meet

The role and function of business in society is evolving. Both external and internal stakeholders are taking a keener interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues and the impact of business on the environment and society. Tax is increasingly considered as a sustainability issue, but what does this mean for businesses and how are tax teams responding?

We will cover the links between ESG and tax, the latest regulatory developments, including public country-by-country reporting and the voluntary initiatives like the IBC and Global Reporting Initiative tax standards. We will share the results of our new research into voluntary tax disclosures made by businesses, looking at 2020 year ends and consider how this compares to the international picture.
