UKFast

Cloud hosting and colocation firm UKFast was launched in 1999 by Lawrence Jones MBE and his now-wife Gail, financed entirely by private funding. Aged just 16, Lawrence's passion for music led him to start his first business, The Music Design Company (MDC), which he sold to Granada a few years later. One particular branch of MDC, importing and renting Grand Pianos, triggered the recurring revenue business model that underpins UKFast.
