Good Growth for Cities - Spotlight on the South East

The Demos-PwC Good Growth for Cities report looks at how well positioned UK cities are for a recovery and what steps the Government, businesses and local leaders can take together to drive Good Growth for all.

The index looks beyond performance against purely economic indicators, and focuses on additional measures of wellbeing such as access to jobs, income, health, skills, work-life balance, housing, transport and the environment. This year’s index includes two new indicators’ covering safety and the vibrancy of local high streets.

As we emerge from the pandemic, one of the country’s priorities must be the delivery of a fair recovery - one that benefits all people and places. We will explore in depth what this means for the South East.
