You can join our Audit practice in any one of our 20 UK offices. Each office and region will have their own unique set of clients ranging from leading multinational companies to start-ups, from family businesses and private individuals, to government and public sector bodies and charities. Our financial services clients cover industries within banking and capital markets, private equity, insurance and consumer finance, working with regional offices too, not just in London.

You'll be part of client engagements straight away, working with clients either from their base, virtually, or from one of our PwC offices. You’ll need to be a people person, tenacious and resilient. It's investigative work where you’ll regularly speak with key contacts such as financial controllers or finance directors, checking that data is accurate and highlighting and questioning any inaccuracies.
If you're joining a regional office, it’s worth noting that due to the geographical spread of our clients, you may find it beneficial to be able to drive, making travel between clients more accessible. Upon joining, you'll have the option to choose our car scheme as part of our benefits package or we recommend you consider living near to good public transport networks.

In Audit you’ll study towards the Chartered Accountant (ACA or CA) qualification.
You’ll start your professional qualification almost immediately upon joining and within the first few months you’ll take your first set of exams. Studying can be tough but we'll be right behind you with full financial support and access to first-class tuition. Our innovative and market leading training programme enables individuals to learn in the most conducive way to suit your preferences and learning style. The approach is designed to offer flexibility in terms of what, when and how you study, allowing you to go at your own pace. You won’t go through this alone, you’ll study with the rest of your cohort, building strong relationships and networks along the way. Yes, studying and exams can be difficult, balancing client demands with evening social activities is tricky, but we have an open culture in Audit and empower our people to have a voice.
For most of our Audit programmes, you'll need to have or be on course for a 2.1 degree or above in any subject.
