If you start your career in Audit, Accounting, Actuarial, Tax or Finance, you’ll gain a unique perspective on some of the world’s most influential, most innovative, and most dynamic organisations.
Every organisation’s ability to thrive and survive depends on its ability to finance its operations, manage budgets, mitigate risk, comply with regulations, and pay taxes, bills and wages. So whether it’s a start-up business, a multinational corporation, a city council or a charity, every client we work with is measured on its financial performance. That performance data, and the insight you gain from it, tells the story of how an organisation is delivering on its goals. It drives strategies, impacts reputations and shapes the future.
By helping our clients to collect, manage and interpret that data accurately, we provide the clarity and expertise to operate effectively, act responsibly and make the right decisions. We help organisations to navigate a rapidly changing world of risk, regulation, legislation, and technological transformation. We help them to become more agile, efficient and profitable. We increase their resilience, sustainability and security. By doing so, we contribute to the transparency and trust that underpins the global economy.
At PwC, you’ll get an incredible education in the fundamentals of business. Developing your understanding of finance and technology, you’ll work with clients to solve complex problems that have a real-world impact. And most of our people gain a professional qualification.
Whether you are auditing financial statements, modelling statistics, reviewing regulations or identifying tax implications, you’ll be using technology to investigate all details of data, systems or processes and turning that analysis into insight.
We can’t do our work in a silo. So a key part of your role will involve building relationships and engaging with clients, regulators, shareholders and stakeholders, at all levels. Most of all, you’ll be learning from a network of PwC colleagues, working in close-knit, multi-skilled teams.
Much of your work will involve interpreting rules, regulations or data and putting them into real-life context for your clients. You’ll challenge clients and make recommendations, always backed up by facts, helping them to make smart, evidence-based decisions.
If you have a particular preference on business area or location, you'll have the opportunity to express this during the application process. Please note, preferences are considered but not guaranteed.
You may not have a preference at this stage, and that's okay too. As you go through the recruitment process, we'll help you to understand more about the roles we have available and support you to find the one most suited to your interests and ambitions.
The first thing you'll need to do is complete your online application carefully, following all the instructions.
A series of online assessments that measure your cognitive skills, behaviours, natural preferences and reasoning abilities.
The next stage of our assessment process is an on-demand video interview. The questions will focus on how you typically approach your work, for example at school, university or any prior work experience you may have.
The penultimate stage of our recruitment process is a virtual immersive assessment centre.
Based on your performance throughout the assessment stages, and the preferences you indicated to us at the start of the application process we’ll match you to your business area and office.
The final stage of our recruitment process is an interview with a senior leader from the business area that you have been matched to.
