Cyber Security

As part of our Risk business, we deal with some of the most urgent issues facing businesses and governments today. We help organisations from all sectors operate securely in the digital world. Our expertise enables clients to resist, detect and respond to cyber -attacks. You’ll either join our Core Advisory team, helping businesses understand and reduce their cyber risks, or our Specialist Advisory team, helping clients detect and respond to security issues.

Our team brings technology risk and data & analytics experts together to help our clients transform their technology, deal with risk & regulatory challenges, respond to crises and operate their businesses effectively. We have opportunities to join Data Analytics in our Risk and Deals practice; Deals Modelling Team, Risk Modelling Services and Advanced Risk or Compliance Analytics.

Deals Insights and Analytics

The Deals Insights and Analytics team work across the full Deals lifecycle, supporting transactions from start to finish adding value to our clients, providing world-leading data analytics & modelling solutions that give our clients the commercial advantage and confidence they need from their trusted advisor.

Working across a vast breadth of clients, we broadly define our offering under the key headings:

  • Deal Analytics: Using value creative analytics, to both help businesses prepare for a transaction, or helping businesses execute on deals.
  • Financial Modelling: Increasing confidence in the deal by developing integrated financial models or by providing independent model assurance.

  • Investigative Analytics: Looking for hidden patterns within banks trading systems, looking for potential evidence of market abuse or incidents of rogue trading or searching for evidence of fraud and abuse within a company’s finance system. 

  • Value Creation and Performance Insight: Providing clarity and insight to management after a target has been acquired using advanced data analytics & reporting to improve sales team performance, effectiveness and optimise employee productivity.

People Technology

Cloud technologies have evolved to enable rapid HR transformation, and the analysis of accurate Human Resource data is significantly shaping the way companies recruit, retain and reward their employees. Based in our Tax practice, a number of people technology teams provide support and advice to clients on a range of HR technology and transformation projects.

Some of the work you may be involved in could be supporting clients with digital transformation programmes, cyber security assessments, or responding to a technological crisis.
