Alastair Timothy

Alastair Timothy is a Senior Manager in PwC’s Forensic Data & AI practice, based in Belfast, with over 15 years of experience specialising in fraud across both public and private sectors. He leads complex investigative analytics engagements, defining fraud MOs and designing risk-based testing aligned to client fraud risks.

Alastair plays a key role in shaping and delivering tech-enabled solutions. He has successfully onboarded new technologies into the forensics practice and is a strong advocate for applying AI on engagements, enabling innovative, market ready propositions. He also has significant experience across range of different domains, leading engagements utilising technology and analytics across audit, payroll, anti-money laundering, trade surveillance, data migration and data governance.

A subject matter expert in forensic and investigative analytics, Alastair brings technical rigour and a problem-solving mindset to every engagement using cutting edge technology built in-house and through our alliance partners. Alastair holds an MSc (Hons) in Finance (Distinction) and a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics.
