Andrew advises both private and public sector clients on a range of ER and employment law issues. Andrew has also gained international experience having completed a secondment to Dubai in the Middle East.
- Investigations: Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures - Andrew has managed and assisted on numerous complex investigations involving both junior and senior members of staff as well as senior stakeholders, from the initial complaint or grievance stage through to the final stage appeal.
- Litigation - Andrew has worked on a number of complex Employment Tribunal claims. This experience including acting on behalf of a large professional services firm and successfully defending a complex discrimination claim. Andrew has experience in the London Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal.
- Contracts and Staff Handbooks/Policies - Andrew provides practical employment law advice and training to start-ups and SMEs to ensure that new employers have the requisite knowledge to take on employees in a legally compliant way.
- National Minimum Wage - Andrew has assisted in assessing, documenting and analysing National Minimum Wage compliance.
- Post-Termination Restrictions - Andrew advises on drafting and reviewing post-termination restrictions including considering enforceability and potential challenges.
- International Experience - Andrew has worked on many international projects and as such has a strong employment law network across the globe.
