Atul helps clients develop strategies to deal with defined benefit pension fund deficits, advising them on all aspects of employer covenant.

• Atul has particular expertise where a pension fund's corporate is dealing with "change" (anything from M&A transactions to a distressed restructuring).
  
• Atul also provides financial advice in litigation procedures (e.g. TPR Moral Hazard Powers).
  
• Atul has experience across a number of sectors, geographies, business sizes and stakeholder structures. Atul's clients include company boards, pension fund trustees, PPF/TPR, shareholders, lenders and potential investors.

Atul's industry roles include sitting on the Covenant Committee at the Society of Pension Professionals and the steering committee of O:pen, an LGBT+ network for those working in the pensions sector.

Atul's wider PwC roles include being the Team Leader for Pensions and Insurance Business Restructuring Services, a team of 150+ people across the UK, which includes our Pensions Employer Covenant & Restructuring team.
