Cara Haffey

Cara is PwC's UK Leader of Industrials & Services sectors across all disciplines. She leads on Private Business and is Head of Deals in Northern Ireland. Cara works on transactions as an M&A Deals Partner.

Cara joined PwC in Glasgow after graduating in BBA Management from Lancaster University. A qualified Chartered Accountant, she has focused on lead advisory, financing and strategy for over 25 years. She has worked across a lot of PwC's regional business and is passionate about leveling up.

Cara is a Board Director of NI Chamber (2026- ) and is the current volunteer Chair of Lisnagarvey Hockey Club for 2026-2028.

Cara is passionate about positive leadership, wellbeing and mental health and, outside PwC, she is past Chair of an award-winning Children’s mental health social enterprise. She is a mother of two children, keeps as fit as she can and still turns out for her hockey team at the weekend.
