David Cannings

David is a Director in our Cyber Threat Detection and Response team which comprises highly specialised cyber security professionals. He is responsible for security engineering, developing tools that help our clients to detect and respond to advanced cyber attacks. He also leads incident response engagements, investigating both cyber crime and espionage breaches.

Prior to PwC, David worked for a global technical specialist where he ran the incident response and threat intelligence teams in the UK. David also worked for the UK Government, supporting clients in the Critical National Infrastructure as they dealt with a wide range of cyber security challenges.
