Debbie links up the tax and pensions practice and has several years of experience in dealing with transactions, including major restructurings, M&A and insolvencies.
Debbie is part of the PwC team that leads and delivers asset backed funding (ABF) and other non cash funding structures, providing clients with multi-discipline solutions to problems in the pension’s environment.
Over the last 9 years Debbie has been involved in all aspects of the design and implementation of funding structures for pension schemes including working with DMGT, Nestle and Invensys and various international inbound clients.
Debbie’s projects include working on implementing 3 US cross-boarder ABFs and a Swiss inbound ABF.
Debbie is also in regular contact with HMRC and the Pensions Regulator on these structures and we have obtained tax clearances from HMRC on all the structures we have implemented. With DMGT we implemented the first structure involving US loan notes and we have a specialist US tax team that supports us in relation to US tax matters.
