Gilly Lord

Gilly is the UK firm’s Chief Risk Officer. Before joining the Management Board she was PwC’s Global Leader for Policy and Regulation and a member of PwC’s Global Risk Leadership team. Previously Gilly was on the UK Audit Executive and has held a number of leadership roles in the firm.
As Chief Risk Officer Gilly is responsible for risk matters relating to the firm including how the firm sets its risk appetite and manages risk. Gilly is also responsible for the firm’s Quality strategy, Ethics, Independence and Compliance.
Gilly has over 30 years’ experience in risk, audit, policy and regulation at both UK and global levels and has undertaken a number of leadership roles with the firm. She has a tenured client career both as an audit partner and in risk and regulation advisory. Gilly is an ICAEW qualified accountant and became a partner in 2006.
Gilly is passionate about meeting clients' needs through insight, expertise and trusted client relationships.
Outside of work, Gilly prioritises spending time with her family and 2 dogs. She is a classically trained pianist, an avid reader and a keen skier.
