James is a partner in our Insurance and Financial Services Restructuring practice. He advises boards, management teams, lenders, investors and other stakeholders through periods of transformation, financial and regulatory challenge, and strategic change.
He is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and licensed insolvency practitioner, with extensive experience in taking insolvency appointments involving insurers, insurance intermediaries, investment firms, SIPP administrators and a range of other businesses across the wider financial services sector.
He also advises clients on the resolution of legacy and redress liabilities, using restructuring solutions—including schemes of arrangement, and M&A transactions—to deliver certainty and finality.
