James Fillingham

James joined PwC in 1992 and has spent time in our Audit and our Corporate Finance businesses, before joining Transaction Services.
He has worked on deals in almost all industry sectors including Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials and TMT. His experience includes acquisitions, disposals, re-financings, joint ventures and public company takeovers. Deals he has led range from the small bolt-on acquisition to multi-billion public bids. His role has typically been to lead the coordination of all PwC’s services into these deal situations, including financial due diligence, commercial and operational reviews, tax, pensions and other services. He also oversees various post-deal offerings such as synergy realisation or post-merger integration.
In addition, James has a particular focus on Private Equity and used to run PwC’s UK Private Equity Deals practice. He remains very active in the Private Equity client arena and is involved in many of the larger pan-European deals.
