Lisa Rasmusson is a solicitor in our International Business Reorganisations (IBR) team. Lisa has over 15 years’ experience advising large corporates on internal group reorganisations, pre and post deal integrations and corporate entity simplifications. The IBR team is Tier 1 rated in the Legal 500.
Lisa's recent experience includes:
- leading the demerger of an asset management business to a newly listed entity on the Toronto Stock Exchange for one of the world's largest alternative investment managers;
- leading the legal aspects of a corporate entity simplification for a large investment management firm, rationalising its intra-group balances, undertaking business transfers and eliminating 30 legal entities from the group structure; and
- advising a UK bank, which is passported into 11 EEA jurisdictions on its Brexit strategy, Brexit licence applications and a complex two year multi-jurisdiction restructuring into new EEA subsidiaries.
Lisa began her career at Morrison Foerster, working in both their London and Tokyo offices.
