Louise Black

Louise Black is PwC’s Market Senior Partner for Northern Ireland and a Partner in the firm’s Financial Services practice, specialising in Banking and Capital Markets, with a particular focus on digital banking. As Market Senior Partner, she is responsible for steering the strategic direction of PwC’s Merchant Square office in Belfast, the firm’s largest UK office outside London.

Louise helps clients harness new and emerging technologies to transform their businesses, improve customer outcomes and unlock sustainable growth. She became a Partner in 2022 and has a strong track record of supporting clients through transformation and growth.

Louise Black has worked across the breadth of the banking market. She has supported new market entrants in designing and launching modern, digital-first propositions, while also helping established banks address the complex challenge of modernising legacy technology estates. This experience gives her a broad perspective on how organisations can respond to technological change, strengthen their propositions and remain competitive.

Alongside her client and market leadership roles, Louise has played a central role in building PwC’s Technology practice. She works closely with the firm’s Technology graduate community and has helped shape the curriculum used to develop the next generation of consulting talent, combining deep technical capability with the commercial understanding the market increasingly demands.

Born and raised in County Antrim, Louise Black combines deep local insight with extensive experience supporting clients across the UK. She is passionate about building on PwC’s strong presence in Northern Ireland, investing in its people and supporting local businesses to transform, innovate and grow.
