Mike has expertise and experience across the spectrum of pensions related work covering both defined benefit and defined contribution clients.
He has been providing financial, strategic and commercial advice to defined benefit pension scheme trustees and sponsoring employers since 2010 providing solutions to a range of challenges including valuations, restructurings, M&A and contingency planning.
He also has expertise in relation to defined contribution pensions, particular the Master Trust market. Mike began advising Master Trusts in 2018 during the period of Authorisation and since then has supported clients through regulatory supervision, M&A, business planning, governance and strategic changes including the introduction of private capital.
Mike has been on secondment to the Pensions Regulator and uses this experience to help his clients prepare for and navigate regulation challenges.
