Richard is a Partner in PwC’s Capital Markets, Accounting Advisory and Structuring (CMAS) group.
Richard is currently based in London, but has also spent a significant proportion of his career in New York. For the last 10 years Richard has been primarily focussed on providing his clients with practical solutions to a range of complex accounting issues, including those arising in connection with IPOs, other capital raising and M&A transactions.
As part of his role, Richard leads PwC’s IFRS 15 (Revenue Recognition) and IFRS 16 (Leasing) accounting advisory propositions, which focus on supporting clients in evaluating and implementing the requirements of these complex new standards.
Richard also facilitates a number of industry working groups focused on understanding the implications of the new revenue recognition and leasing rules and is a regular speaker at industry events providing insights on practical approaches to address the upcoming changes to the revenue recognition and leasing standards.
