Sam has 20 years' experience working with UK defined benefit schemes on investment strategy and implementation of investment strategy. Sam has worked with many large UK pension funds either advising scheme trustees or corporate sponsors, including working on strategy for schemes with assets in aggregate of over £100bn. Sam has worked in various technical and client facing roles, including as an ALM modelling specialist, an LDI-focussed consultant and as a strategic consultant to corporate sponsors. Notable projects include outsourcing of asset management functions for very large schemes and major buy-in and superfund transactions.
