Sam Tao

Sam is an experienced partner in our restructuring practice, specialising in providing financial restructuring advice to management and sponsors through debt restructuring processes in the UK and for international businesses. This has included advising on strategic options, capital structure and covenants.

Sam has broad experience of advising companies through crisis situations and managing diverse stakeholder groups.

The complexity of the projects that Sam has been involved in means that he understands complex stakeholder issues during a restructuring process and develops strategic options for negotiations with a range of stakeholders such as sponsors, pension trustees and swap providers.

He has worked across a number of sectors, most recently airports, project finance, construction, support services and oil and gas services.
