Sarah O'Toole

Sarah is a Partner in PwC’s Restructuring and Insolvency practice with over 25 years’ experience helping businesses and their stakeholders navigate financial challenge and change.

She works predominantly with mid-market, privately owned and private equity-backed businesses, often at critical points when there are difficult decisions to make. Sarah works closely with management teams, shareholders, private equity investors and lenders to quickly understand the issues, bring clarity to the options available and find a practical way forward.

Her experience spans restructuring, refinancing and insolvency situations across a wide range of sectors, with a particular focus on retail, consumer and leisure, as well as construction, real estate and business services.

Sarah is Head of Regions for PwC’s Lead Advisory Restructuring business and leads PwC’s ABL Advisory team and Restructuring teams across the North of England.

Sarah enjoys working alongside management teams and stakeholders to solve complex problems. She is known for her straightforward, collaborative and commercial approach, bringing people together and creating momentum when it matters most.
