Simon Oswald

Senior Manager, Sustainability and Climate Change, PwC United Kingdom

Simon is a Senior Manager within PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change team. Simon specialises in helping asset owners to understand their climate-related risks and opportunities and to develop and implement credible Net-Zero strategies. He is an expert in climate change, TCFD and sustainable finance policy.

Prior to joining PWC Simon worked for the UK’s leading UK pensions provider, where he led their long term savings and ESG policy programme. He helped deliver their market leading Net Zero strategy, launched their automatic-enrolment Net Zero pension proposition and was a member of their TCFD expert panel.

Previously, Simon worked in Whitehall as a senior advisor to the Chair of the Environmental Audit Select Committee, where he specialised in climate policy.

Simon holds a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.

Simon’s recent experience includes advising on:

  • Net-Zero strategy for a leading pension provider
  • TCFD reporting and disclosure for large DB pension scheme.
  • Net Zero target setting for large private pension scheme.
  • Net zero transition plan for European asset owner
