PwC appoints Nick Wilks as UK Insurance Leader

PwC has appointed Nick Wilks as UK Insurance sector leader, succeeding Alex Bertolotti who has led the practice for more than five years.  

Nick will lead PwC’s UK insurance practice of around 2,000 partners and staff, working with clients across the London Market and broking, life and general insurance sectors.

Nick is a partner in the firm’s Consulting practice. Based in London, he has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance sector, working across general insurance, property & casualty and life insurance clients. He is a member of PwC’s EMEA insurance leadership team and has expertise in insurance risk, finance transformation, and IFRS 17 implementation. He has led large-scale finance transformation programmes for major insurers and supports clients through complex accounting and regulatory change initiatives.
