PwC UK appoints Marcus Bokkerink as Independent Non-Executive

PwC UK has appointed Marcus Bokkerink as a new Independent Non‑Executive (INE) and Audit Non-Executive (ANE). He will join the firm’s Public Interest Body (PIB) working alongside PIB Chair Philip Rycroft, Suzanne Baxter and Rob Perrins. He will also sit on the firm's Audit Oversight Body (AOB), chaired by Caroline Gardner.

Marcus brings extensive leadership and governance experience from his career at Boston Consulting Group, where he was a Senior Partner and Managing Director leading the firm’s UK and European consumer and strategy practices, as well as several global client teams. He also brings significant regulatory and public interest expertise from his tenure as Chair of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).

He is currently a Non‑Executive Board Member of Pinsent Masons International, a Advisory Group member of The European Consumer Organisation (BEUC), and a Non‑Executive Director of Provenance. Marcus’ pro bono experience includes serving as Chair of the Development Board of Pembroke College, Cambridge, Governor of Manchester Grammar School and Honorary Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School.
