PwC UK has promoted 47 new partners across its business, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to investing in senior level talent. Over half (64%) of the new partners have an industry specialism and one in five are technologists.  Among the new partners, 26% are women and 19% are of minority ethnic backgrounds – the firm remains focused on achieving its target of women making up 34% of the partnership by 2030.

Phillippa O’Connor, Chief People Officer at PwC, said:

“Our new equity partners continue to strengthen the leadership, expertise and ambition of our firm, reflecting the depth and breadth of capability across PwC and our focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients. They will play an important role in building on the strength of our services, accelerating growth in new and emerging areas, and supporting clients as they navigate an increasingly complex and fast-moving environment, especially as AI-enabled capabilities rapidly transform organisations.”

With the new promotions, the partnership is now 28% female, consistent with last year, and 14% of partners are from ethnic minority backgrounds, up from 13.6% from last year.
