Allen Vanguard Limited – In Administration

Tom Crookham and Edward Macnamara have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Allen-Vanguard Limited ("AVL" or the "Company").

The appointment was made on 9 October 2026.

Allen-Vanguard Ltd specialised in the development and manufacture of advanced defence, security and protective technology solutions. In the months leading up to the administration, the Company experienced significant financial challenges and, despite extensive efforts by the directors and the wider group to secure additional investment and funding, no viable solution could be achieved.

On 1 September 2026, PwC Canada was appointed as receiver and manager of the assets, undertakings and properties of Allen Vanguard Corporation. As a result, the Company became balance sheet insolvent and the directors concluded that the business could not continue to trade without further financial support.

Prior to the appointment, the Company's business and assets were marketed for sale. Immediately following their appointment, the Joint Administrators completed a sale of the majority of the Company's assets to Allen Vanguard Corporation Limited (the "Purchaser").

The transaction was completed to preserve value for creditors and provide continuity for those areas of the business included within the sale. Certain assets, contracts and business operations are expected to continue under the Purchaser, subject to any necessary consents and transitional arrangements.

Amounts owed by Allen-Vanguard Ltd in respect of goods supplied, services provided, rent or other liabilities arising before the administration remain claims against the Company and do not transfer to the Purchaser unless expressly agreed as part of the transaction. Known creditors will receive formal notification of the administration together with information regarding the claims process in due course.
