The final date for proving has now passed.  As of 1 May 2026, the Employee Claims Portal has been closed and is no longer accessible for claim submissions.  Should you have a change of address or bank details, please email uk_carpetright_employees@pwc.com.  Expected payment details are noted below; emails requesting payment before this date will not be responded to.

We have issued a notice of intended dividend to ordinary preferential creditors on 31 March 2026 as defined in the Insolvency Act 1986.  These are creditors (mostly former employees) with claims that relate to unpaid remuneration earned in the four months before the relevant date of the insolvency up to a maximum of £800,  accrued holiday pay, or unpaid pension contributions in certain circumstances.

We intend to issue a notice of intended dividend to secondary preferential creditors (HMRC) in due course.  Unfortunately, we don't anticipate making a distribution to unsecured creditors.
