Creditors / Suppliers
Please note that there will be no unsecured distribution to creditors of Drayton Manor Park Limited and Drayton Manor Park (Catering) Limited.
Mike Denny and Peter Dickens of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP were appointed as joint administrators of the Companies on 3 August 2020.
The Companies operated Drayton Manor Park which is a family-run theme park based in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The park offers over 50 rides, Thomas Land, a zoo, various retail and catering outlets and a 4* star hotel with 148 bedrooms and conference facilities (the "Park").
Immediately following their appointment, the joint administrators successfully completed the sale of all of the Companies’ business and assets to a wholly owned subsidiary of Looping Parks UK Limited ("Looping"). Looping is a European group of regional leisure parks with 15 parks across the UK, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and Portugal. In the UK, it currently owns West Midlands Safari Park and Pleasurewood Hills.
The sale has secured the ongoing employment of all of the Companies' employees who have transferred to the new business as part of the sale and the Park will continue to trade and operate as normal.
If you have any questions about the ongoing supply of goods or services to the Companies, please speak to your usual contact in the business.
If you are owed money by the Companies relating to the goods and services supplied prior to the joint administrators' appointments, these amounts will rank as unsecured claims and will not be paid for. We will shortly be writing to you to further explain the consequences of the administrations and your rights as a creditor.

Submitting an unsecured claim against the Companies
Our preferred method for creditors to submit claims and supporting documentation is via the online Turnkey IPS Portal www.ips-docs.com, as this is the most effective way for claims to be dealt with. We will be issuing creditors with their unique login details at regular intervals.
