Notice of Scheme Effective Date
IN THE SUPREME COURT OF GIBRALTAR IN THE MATTER OF ELITE INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED (IN ADMINISTRATION) (“ELITE”) AND IN THE MATTER OF PART VIII OF THE GIBRALTAR COMPANIES ACT 2014
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, by Order dated 27 May 2026, the Supreme Court of Gibraltar sanctioned the Elite Insurance Company Limited (in Administration) (“Elite” or the "Company") scheme of arrangement pursuant to Part VIII of the Gibraltar Companies Act 2014 (the "Scheme").
Following delivery of the Court order to the Registrar of Companies in Gibraltar, the Scheme is effective as of 4 June 2026 (the “Effective Date”).
Scheme Creditors have until 5pm (CET) on 1 December 2026 (the “Claim Submission Deadline”) to submit their claim into the Scheme, which is 180 days after the Effective Date. All Scheme Claims must be received on or before the Claims Submission Deadline to be valid. You may submit a revised Claim Form and/or any revised relevant Supporting Information in respect of a Scheme Claim at any time up to the Claims Submission Deadline.
Please register your details for further communications on the Scheme and to receive Creditor Portal login details where you will be able to submit a claim into the Scheme. Please use the Registration Form at reg.ips-docs.com/Registration and enter code EliteScheme26 when prompted. If you have already registered, you are not required to register again.
