Lehman Brothers - one year on
On the one year anniversary of Lehman's collapse, we look at PwC's role in the largest administration in history.
The following statistics offer an insight into the massive scale of the administration:
- 400 Lehman's and 200 PwC staff (approx.) worked on the administration
- PwC has recovered some $30bn of client assets, of which $13bn have already been returned
- $100bn claim filed into US Lehman Bros
- 800,000 failed transactions are being unwound
- $9bn of cash recovered for clients so far
